Description
This residential and public realm project is the final phase of MIDI Plc`s development of Tigné Point in Malta. Designed by LOM, the scheme comprises the Q3 residential tower set within 7,000sqm of landscaped public space that contains the Garden Battery – one of a series of 19th century artillery fortifications on the island. A hushed entrance to a calm and airy space. Natural stone, warm woods and bronze accents define the tranquil reception where the welcoming concierge is at your service. A stepped profile, slender design and terraces maximize stunning views, encompass shade and sun, and reflect the elegance within. Sweeping walkways curve through fragrant gardens and open spaces, to bring residents direct to the shopping centre and picturesque promenade. The historic 19th Century Battery site has been integrated into the scenic designs to enhance a sense of time and place, in a new public realm. Each apartment is immaculately designed to create spacious and elegant interiors which are truly unique. The interiors include concealed air-conditioning, timber doors, suspended soffit ceilings and high quality bathrooms with underfloor heating. Every apartment is intuitively designed and flawlessly finished. Interiors showcase a neutral, cool palette of light porcelain tiles, engineered timber flooring, natural stone wall tiles and bronze accent finishes. Natural materials frame stunning sea views, a restored 19th century artillery fortification and a spacious public realm. Sensitively landscaped with an abundance of indigenous planting, accessible public walkways thread through gardens with stone terraces and stepped seating. Large balconies, edged in bronze-coloured zinc, allow for sun and shade on the staggered façade while bold concrete cladding references the warm local limestone. Flowing open spaces, light-flooded rooms create a space for living a life that feels free from the stresses and strains of the everyday. Four levels of basement car parking are provided for residents so that the upper levels of the scheme are car free.
